Vincent Reinhart, chief economist and macro strategist at BNY Mellon and former director of the US Federal Reserve’s monetary division, joined Mark Sobel, US chair of OMFIF, to discuss the June Federal Open Market Committee meeting, that took place on 13-14 June.
Their discussion analysed the outcome of the meeting and examine the dot plot, the outlook for US inflation and the labour market and rate prospects for the remainder of 2023.
