As China reopens to the world, Professor Huang Yiping, deputy dean and Sinar Mas chair professor of finance and economics at the National School of Development, Peking University, joins Mark Sobel, US chairman at OMFIF to discuss what is in store for the Chinese economy. Formerly a member of the International Monetary Fund’s external advisory group on surveillance, Yiping has also served as a member of the Monetary Policy Committee at the People’s Bank of China.

This high-level discussion explores the 2023 outlook for China’s economy, the future of the Chinese growth model and the country’s exchange rate policy. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions at the end of the event.
