Antonio Marcos Fonte Guimarães, head of division, financial system regulation department at the Central Bank of Brazil, joins Patricia Haas Cleeveland, OMFIF’s president of US operations, to discuss the work taking place around increasing financial inclusion in Brazil. Taking in technological innovation, the democratisation of financial services and societal change, Antonio will discuss the reasons for Brazil’s focus, what they have found so far, the benefits to increased financial inclusion and financial innovation alongside impacts on financial stability.
