Greening portfolios and reducing carbon footprint: Sovereign issuers and central banks (In-person)
Benoit Mojon and Gong Cheng from the Bank for International Settlements join the Sustainable Policy Institute for an in-person roundtable to discuss strategies to build portfolios of sovereign securities with progressively declining carbon footprints. They discuss how to build a net zero aligned portfolio while tracking the risk adjusted returns of a business-as-usual benchmark. Participants can gain insight on the relationship between climate risks, portfolio management and returns, and the role of central banks in supporting the greening of portfolios.
