China is reshaping the global economy with its outward investment and through the scale and pace of change of its domestic markets. But high debt, the leadership’s determination to maintain state control over key parts of China’s economy, and growing friction with other countries have put the sustainability of its current model in question.

Bringing together experts from Capital Economics and OMFIF, this meeting will give an overview of China’s five-year economic outlook and address the implications of Chinese policy for the rest of the world.
