Empowering change: promoting gender balance in financial institutions

It is projected to take 140 years to have an equal number of women and men at the helm of central banks and major financial institutions. While gender equality is improving, much remains to be done. This discussion will evaluate measures to promote gender and diversity balance, including ways to break the glass ceiling of leadership, encourage equal pay and change company culture.
This roundtable will be an addition to the series of OMFIF roundtables about gender equality, exploring strategies and policies to address the issue and identifying effective measures to promote inclusivity and equal opportunities. See our 2023 Gender Balance Index here as well as other gender-focused articles here.
