The sustainability agenda for central banks: Reflections after the IMF-WG Annual Meeting

Following the International Monetary Fund-World Bank Group annual meetings, and as sustainability becomes an increasingly important consideration in Covid recovery plans, Norges Bank and Banco de México discuss how to embed climate issues into central bank policies. The meeting examines how central banks can better coordinate their policy interventions to support the transition to a carbon neutral, environmentally sustainable economy.
