CEE in focus: the future of capital markets

CEE in focus: the future of capital markets

Symposium   Virtual
  Tue 5 Oct 2021 09:00 - 11:30

This high-level panel discussion will discuss the macroeconomic considerations of Covid-19 and the state of public finances and debt in the region. The objective is to bring together leading debt management offices and investors to discuss policy considerations and lessons learned on public debt, how to rebalance in favour of more capital market financing and strengthening local financing resources.

‘CEE in focus: the future of capital markets’ is part of the ‘Funding a new era for Europe’ series of events that OMFIF is hosting with other sovereign borrowers in the region to discuss their funding plans and outlook of the bond markets. We are also bringing our unique network of some of the world’s most powerful and influential investors into the conversation, together with the market insight of leading intermediaries. This on-the-record event will be broadcast globally to policy-makers, issuers, investors and central bankers that are part of the OMFIF network.
