The global shift to a sustainable economy demands bold action. Public pension and sovereign funds are at the forefront of transition efforts, but challenges remain. In 2024 OMFIF’s Transition Finance Working Group brought together 12 global public investors managing over $5tn in assets to understand the barriers to transitioning capital.
These funds included:
- GIC
- APG Asset Management
- CDPQ
- Norges Bank Investment Management.
2025 will see the working group return, with a focus on product development, investment opportunity, portfolio management and asset allocation.
