Macroeconomics and capital markets
OMFIF and the Centre for Central Banking at the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management are convening a macroeconomic and capital markets seminar to review developments in 2024 and discuss the medium-term outlook. A fortnight after the US presidential election, the seminar convenes public and private sector participants for off-the-record discussions on key economic and financial issues, with a focus on capital markets.
Aside from deliberating the political and economic climate, the gathering considers the state of European capital market infrastructure. A central issue is how to make the money and capital markets of Europe more resilient, liquid and interoperative to help boost the European economy.
