Joachim Nagel is president of the Deutsche Bundesbank. He is also member of the Governing Council of the European Central Bank. Prior to joining Bundesbank, he was deputy head of banking at the Bank for International Settlements. He was previously member of the supervisory board of Deutsche Börse and executive board of KfW Group.
