Sourav Bhowmick is former senior adviser for Inflation Reduction Act implementation at the US Department of the Treasury from 2021 to 2025. He joined the US Treasury initially as deputy executive secretary, where he managed the domestic policy development process for Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen. He also built and led a 22-person organisation to catalyse a bipartisan US clean energy transition. Prior to government, Bhowmick was a management consultant in Deloitte Consulting’s strategy and operations group.
