OMFIF’s Gender Balance Index analyses the state of gender parity in senior leadership roles across the financial sector. The 2026 edition explores how far we are from reaching gender balance in central banks, commercial banks, pension funds and sovereign funds, based on data from more than 300 institutions, covering over 6,000 individuals.

Now in its 13th edition, this year's report takes a closer look at the importance of policy in measuring progress. A new chapter examines structural constraints that continue to limit women's advancement to the most senior roles, and looks at the public and corporate policy tools best placed to address them.

The report will be launched with a global live broadcast, featuring a panel of experts discussing the key findings. Register to attend the event below.
