As the conversation moves on from the immediate health crisis and response to Covid-19, Germany is making steps to ease lockdown measures, and Europe is discussing a recovery fund. This is against the backdrop of the German constitutional court ruling on 5 May on the European Central Bank’s public sector purchase programme.
