This roundtable discussion with Olaf Sleijpen, division director of supervision policy at De Nederlandsche Bank, examines the work that DNB has conducted on establishing standard metrics to quantify climate risk. He analyses how central banks can measure the carbon dioxide impact of their own reserves, balance sheets and measure portfolio risk to mitigate climate impact.
