Looking ahead to the May FOMC meeting
Seth Carpenter, global chief economist at Morgan Stanley, and Sonal Desai, chief investment officer for fixed income at Franklin Templeton, join Mark Sobel, US chairman of OMFIF, to discuss the May Federal Open Market Committee meeting and the state of the Federal Reserve’s toolkit. Their conversation will cover the fiscal outlook and how it is impacting the Fed, the impact of recent inflation jumps, the central bank’s monetary policy options and how all of this feeds into Fed decision-making.
