Maintaining financial stability in the UK
A City Lecture with Anil Kashyap, external member of the Financial Policy Committee at the Bank of England. The committee was set up in 2013 as part of the bank’s system of regulation introduced in the light of the financial crisis. The lecture examines how macroprudential policy-making does and should work in practice, and challenges in making it fully operational.
