Who we are

Dialogue on world finance and economic policy

OMFIF is an independent research group for central banking, economic policy and public investment, providing a neutral platform for public and private sector engagement worldwide. With teams in London and the US, OMFIF focuses on global policy and investment themes relating to central banks, sovereign funds, pension funds, regulators and treasuries. Global public investors with investable assets of $43tn are at the heart of this network.

OMFIF analysis draws on expertise from our in-house specialists and global network of public and private sector members. Membership provides opportunities to connect with major financial institutions and policy-makers through OMFIF events and research. Many OMFIF meetings, held under the OMFIF Rules, take place within central banks and other official institutions.

The OMFIF advisory network is chaired by Lord Norman Lamont, a member of the UK House of Lords and former Chancellor of the Exchequer.
