Work with us

Some of our staff share why they love working at OMFIF.

Stella Emseis, Senior Meetings Manager

What does your typical day at OMFIF look like?
As I work on the logistics side of the meetings team, there is no typical day for me. One day I could be sat at my desk preparing for a meeting, the next day I could be on a site visit sourcing a venue for a forthcoming event, and then another day I could be on a plane travelling to one of our international meetings.

What do you love most about your role?
I love the varied nature of my role. No day is the same and it keeps me on my toes.

Oliver Thew, Programmes Manager, Americas

What do you enjoy most about working at OMFIF?
One of the best aspects about working at OMFIF is the exposure to senior policy-makers. Even at an early stage, I was able to build relations with officials from central banks, finance ministries and other organisations from around the world. There are also opportunities to travel and work in other countries with international financial intuitions. The culture of the organisation has also helped me develop my skills as a professional and there is a real emphasis on encouraging staff to take ownership of projects. Hard work is rewarded and there is a clear path of progression.

Describe working at OMFIF in three words
Motivating, stimulating, enjoyable.

William Coningsby-Brown, Editorial Assistant

What is your favourite aspect of your role?
Being able to work within the cutting edge of financial and political research.

What do you think is unique about the culture of OMFIF?
How staff members click so well together, and are driven towards ensuring OMFIF achieves its goals.
