Linda Yueh is an economist, broadcaster, and author. She is Fellow in Economics at St Edmund Hall, University of Oxford, Adjunct Professor of Economics at London Business School, and Visiting Professor of Economics at Peking University.
She is a TV and radio presenter, including for BBC Radio 4 and the BBC World Service, and has fronted BBC TV series, including The New Middle Class, Next Billionaires, and Working Lives.
Yueh is Visiting Senior Fellow at IDEAS, the London School of Economics and Political Science’s (LSE) foreign policy think tank, and serves on the Policy Committee of the Centre for Economic Performance at the LSE. She is a Trustee of the Coutts Foundation and Royal Commonwealth Society, and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
She had been Economics Editor and Anchor at Bloomberg TV in London. She was also an attorney at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison in New York.
Yueh has advised the World Bank, European Commission, Asian Development Bank and World Economic Forum, among others organisations. She was Non-Executive Director of JPMorgan Asian Investment Trust and Baillie Gifford's Scottish Mortgage Investment Trust. She was also Co-Chair of the Global Cities Business Alliance of London First, board member of London & Partners, the official promotion body of London, and a former adviser to the British Chambers of Commerce.
