Oscar Lewisohn is Chairman of Soditic, Director of Bank Winter in Vienna, and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers. He is a Founder Member of Cancer Research UK in London; a Trustee of the Annemarie og Erling Kristiansens Fond in Copenhagen; and Member of the Council of Fundación Cultural Coll Bardolet in Majorca. He is the former Vice Chairman of the Danish-UK Chamber of Commerce in London.

Following his education at Sortedam Gymnasium in Copenhagen, Lewisohn joined SG Warburg & Co in 1962, becoming Executive Director in 1969 and Deputy Chairman between 1987 and 1994. He was Director of the SG Warburg Group between 1985 and 1995, where he was responsible for risk control and treasury.

Lewisohn was a Senior Executive at the Private Investor Division of Mercury Asset Management between 1994 and 1998, and Director of HSBC Private Bank (Suisse) between 1997 and 2006.

Lewisohn is Honorary Member of Christ’s College at Cambridge University, and a Knight of the Order of Dannebrog in Denmark.
